Refund and Cancellation Policy
1. Scope and transaction role
This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to paid subscriptions to Lacasai and forms part of the Terms of Service. Lacasai operates the Service. The merchant of record identified at checkout handles transaction and refund processing under its buyer terms and may grant additional rights.
2. 14-day trial and automatic conversion
The trial lasts 14 days and requires a valid payment card. If you cancel before the trial ends, no subscription charge will be made. If you do not cancel, the trial automatically converts to a paid subscription and the first charge is made when the trial ends. The subscription then renews automatically at the monthly or annual billing interval selected at checkout until cancelled.
3. Cancellation
You may cancel through the cancellation route shown at checkout or on your receipt. Once cancellation is confirmed, future renewals stop and access to Lacasai ends immediately. Cancellation does not itself guarantee a refund.
4. Refund eligibility and mandatory rights
Monthly subscription charges are generally non-refundable, except where mandatory rights under applicable law or additional rights granted by the merchant of record apply. The first annual subscription charge will be refunded in full if requested within 14 days after the charge. For a later annual renewal, you may receive a prorated refund if you request it within 14 days after the renewal charge. Nothing in this Policy limits any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded; mandatory rights under applicable law prevail.
5. Requests, processing and contact
To request a refund or assistance with cancellation, use the refund or support route shown at checkout or on your receipt, or email hello@lacasai.com. Provide enough information to identify the transaction. The merchant of record will process any approved refund to the original payment method where possible. Processing and posting times vary by the merchant of record and financial institution.
